Shawn Moody, founder of Moody’s Collision Centers with 11 locations in Maine, will be the Republican candidate for Governor in Maine in November. Moody won an outright majority of the primary vote, making him the winner of his primary, on Tuesday. With a majority, there’s no need for additional rounds of voting under Maine’s ranked-choice voting system.
Moody previously ran as an Independent candidate for Governor of Maine in the 2010 election. He entered the 2018 Gubernatorial race for the Republican nomination to replace Governor Paul LePage in November 2017.
