GM Using AI-Based Design Technology and 3D Printing for Next Generation of Vehicle Lightweighting

GM Alliance with Autodesk includes advanced AI-based generative design technology and 3D printing advancements to help lighten and transform future vehicles

General Motors announced it is using new, advanced software design technology to introduce the next generation of vehicle lightweighting. According to the vehicle manufacturer, the technology is key to developing efficient and lighter alternative propulsion and zero emission vehicles.
