Travel for the month of August is estimated at 277.3 billion vehicle miles nationwide according to the most recent data released by the Federal Highway Administration. The August result continues the good news for the collision repair industry as it represents an increase of 2.3 percent, or 6.3 billion vehicle miles, compared to August 2014. The August volume is the largest ever recorded for the month.
