October traffic grew 1.2 percent for the month compared to 2016.
Travel volume in October continued to increase, though at a smaller rate than experienced in the U.S. in recent years. The growth is continuing the trend of increased driving that supports increasing collision repair industry volume and auto physical damage insurance claims across the U.S.
Travel for the month of October is estimated at 275.0 billion vehicle miles nationwide according to the most recent data released by the Federal Highway Administration.
