UK Competition Authority Launches In-Depth Investigation into LKQ Subsidiary Acquisition

The United Kingdom Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) announced today that it was launching an in-depth review of Euro Car Parts’ acquisition of Andrew Page. The possibility of the in-depth review was announced earlier this month by the CMA

LKQ logoOn May 11, the CMA announced that it would refer the deal for an in-depth investigation unless Euro Car Parts offered acceptable ways of addressing competition concerns. Euro Car Parts had until May 17 to propose solutions to address the CMA concerns
