Private equity firms reportedly exploring sale of collision repair industry information provider.
CCC Information Services, Inc. may be up for sale according to an article last week by Bloomberg. Founded in 1980 and based in Chicago, Ill., CCC, once a public company, taken private in 2006.
According to the article, CCC’s private equity backers, TPG Capital and Leonard Green & Partners are exploring a sale of the company that could value the company at $3 billion.
