Former Collision Repair Shop Association Leader Elected North Carolina Insurance Commissioner

A former advocate and lobbyist for auto body associations in the southeast U.S. was elected as the Republican candidate for North Carolina Insurance Commissioner.

Mike Causey, formerly served as the Director of Government Affairs and Managing Director for the Independent Auto Body Association, was elected Insurance Commissioner in North Carolina.Mike Causey, a five-time candidate for the office, formerly served as the Director of Government Affairs and Managing Director for the Independent Auto Body Association (IABA) and was a registered lobbyist in North Carolina for the (IABA), the North Carolina Autobody and Glass Association, as well as the Automotive Service Association of North Carolina.
