AutoNation, the automotive retailer, today announced that it acquired Westmont Body Werks, located in Westmont, Ill., a suburb of Chicago, The facility is AutoNation’s 70th collision repair center nationwide. The facility was acquired this month and represents annual revenue of approximately $10 million.
In addition to the Westmont acquisition, the company also announced it recently opened a new collision repair center in Sarasota, Fla.
The acquisitions and openings are part of plans the company has to increase its collision repair business nationally. The company announced today plans open or acquires at least 18 collision repair centers across the country. New
