Copart Reports Revenue Up 17.8% in Fiscal Fourth Quarter

Copart, Inc. (NASDAQ:CPRT) reported financial results for its fiscal fourth quarter and year ended July 31, 2016.

copartFor the three months ended July 31, 2016, revenue, gross margin, operating income, and net income were $332.7 million, $141.5 million, $106.2 million, and $84.1 million, respectively. These represent an increase in revenue of $50.4 million, or 17.8 percent; an increase in gross margin of $22.7 million, or 19.1 percent; an increase in operating income of $19.4 million, or 22.4 percent; and an increase in net income of $26.7 million, or 46.5 percent, respectively, from the same quarter last year.
