CARSTAR announced the hiring of a new Education and Training Manager to direct the activities of its on-line and platform training resources. Dan Blackorby, a ten-year veteran of State Farm, will expand on the programs that CARSTAR founder, Lirel Holt, developed, including the addition of new courses on CARSTAR University Online, the company’s Internet-based training tool.
Blackorby has both Collision Repair and Insurance Industry experience. In addition to his position as an Instructor at State Farm, he was also an Auto Estimator, a national Service First Representative, and an Estimatic Team Manager for the Kansas City metro area.
