Production and total employment set new records.
An analysis of the latest data released from the U.S. Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) covering the preliminary February collision repair employment, hours worked and wages indicated production were up on a year-over-year basis but down slightly from record level in January.
Overall, total collision repair industry employment in February was up 5.5% compared to February 2022. Production employment was up 10.1% in February compared to 2022.
