On November 9, a federal jury in Central Islip, N.Y. returned a guilty verdict on all five counts against Lorraine Pilitz, also known as “Lorraine Christie,” and “Lorraine Storms” for illegally structuring financial transactions, corruptly obstructing the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), and filing false tax returns. The verdict followed a two-week trial before United States District Judge Joanna Seybert.
