More than two years since the start of the pandemic, workers have not returned to offices in the top 10 U.S. metro areas.
According to the latest Kastle Systems 10-city Back to Work Barometer, office occupancy dropped slightly to 41.2% as of June 1 reflecting the Memorial Day Holiday. Occupancy at legal offices also dropped to 72.4%. Kastle Systems analysis found that office occupancy was down during the Friday before and the Tuesday after the holiday, compared to the previous four Fridays and Tuesdays.
