Vehicle Travel Continues to Rebound Across the U.S.

Personal travel road traffic improved nationally and in every state for the week ending May 15.

According to the latest INRIX U.S. National Traffic Volume Synopsis covering the week of May 9-15, for the fourth straight week travel continued to rebound across the U.S. Nationwide personal travel improved to levels last seen on Monday, March 23, over six weeks ago.

The chart below shows the relative change in passenger vehicle travel from March 1 compared to the control week of February 22 – 28, 2020 and includes a weekly rolling average.
