Lawson Products, Inc. (NASDAQ:LAWS), the parent of Kent Automotive, announced results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2018.
Net sales increased 7.0 percent to $86.3 million for the fourth quarter versus $80.6 million for the same period a year ago. Average daily sales grew to $1.414 million in the recent quarter compared with $1.322 million a year earlier. Both quarters had 61 selling days. Sales per rep per day generated by Lawson’s maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) segment increased 5.4 percent over the fourth quarter of 2017.
