Compared to the same month in 2017, traffic volume in the U.S. was up in November. The 12-month rolling average sets new record.
Travel volume in November increased on a year-over-year basis. This is the second straight month where the monthly driving total increased on a year-over-year basis after declining in September. In total just three months, including February and April had month-on-month declines in 2018.
Increased driving, coupled with the higher numbers of new, insured vehicles, has supported higher collision repair industry volume and auto physical damage insurance claims across the U.S.
