Travel for the month of October is estimated at 273.5 billion vehicle miles nationwide according to the most recent data released by the Federal Highway Administration. The October5 result continues the good news for the collision repair industry as it represents an increase of 2.4 percent, or 6.4 billion vehicle miles, compared to October 2014. The October volume is the largest ever recorded for the month.
