Knell is leaving the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR) after 30 Years with the not-for-profit training organization.
Margaret Knell, I-CAR’s former Director of Governance and Lead for Legal and Policy, has left the organization effective September 14. Knell joined I-CAR in January 1988 as a receptionist and administrative assistant in what was her first job. She later became assistant to Jeff Silver, I‑CAR’s CEO at the time, and eventually oversaw office operations for the company until transitioning to lead board governance for both I-CAR and the I-CAR Education Foundation, now known as the Collision Repair Education Foundation.
