Prices remain above year-ago levels
Wholesale used-vehicle prices declined in July, pulling the Manheim Used Vehicle Value Index down to 210 on a mix-, mileage- and seasonally adjusted basis, Cox Automotive reported Aug. 7. The index finished 1.4% below June and 1.3% above July 2025, a year-over-year gain that narrowed from 2.1% a month earlier.
