The California Autobody Association’s Glendale Foothill chapter will hold a dinner meeting Aug. 25 at The Odyssey in Granada Hills focused on the appraisal clause and what collision repair facilities can do when they disagree with an insurer’s estimate.
The session will feature automobile and insurance attorney Bryan M. Thomas, who is scheduled to give an overview of the appraisal clause process, walk attendees through a step-by-step approach to invoking it and cover best practices for preparing an estimate when a facility anticipates an appraisal clause dispute. A question-and-answer period is scheduled to follow.
