Career and Technical Education Groups Raise Concerns Over U.S. Department of Education Cuts

Two leading organizations representing Career and Technical Education (CTE) professionals, Advance CTE and the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE), have voiced strong concerns over recent staffing and funding reductions at the U.S. Department of Education (ED). The cuts, which significantly reduce ED’s workforce, are expected to disrupt CTE programs nationwide, affecting funding distribution, data collection, and access for students who rely on these programs for career preparation.
