Office Occupancy Trending Upward

April 19, 2022 By CollisionWeek Editor

Kastle Systems says top companies are bringing employees back to the office. Spring school holidays lowered occupancy last week.

Kastle Systems’ 10-city Back to Work Barometer hit 42.8% last week, a slight decrease from the previous week’s 43.1% rate. The company believes the decline is likely due to workers taking time off during their children’s spring break vacations.

The latest data reflects the start of the tech industry’s return to the office. Google brought back employees part time on April 4, and Apple began requiring workers to come to the office for a phased return on April 11.
