In June, the Certified Automotive Parts Association (CAPA), the independent non-profit standard-setting and certification organization for automotive collision repair parts, announced the launch of its new Tier 1 Replacement Parts Verification Program. The new initiative provides the ability for the producer of vehicle manufacturer OEM parts to verify that the parts it offers directly to the aftermarket are the same as those it supplies to vehicle manufacturers.
