Fix Network Raises CA$19,970 for Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada

January 19, 2021 By CollisionWeek Editor

The Fix Network along with its staff and strategic partners, have raised CA$19,970 ($15,693) to support Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada (RMHC Canada) and its programs aimed at helping families with sick children.

Fix Network CanadaAll through December 2020, Fix Network’s Canada-wide initiative, called “Season of Giving”, encouraged its strategic partners and staff to donate generously to RMHC’s 34 programs across Canada that provide support for families, while their sick child is being treated at a nearby hospital.

This year, due to restrictions brought on by COVID-19, Fix Network could not hold special outreach events or fundraisers to support its annual initiative. Despite these challenges, the organization remained determined to support its charity of choice, RMHC Canada, and its families.

Somer Mullins, National Director for Marketing and Communications for Fix Network Canada, says: “It’s great to see the Network come together as a family and stand united with RMHC Canada in its greatest time of need. The season is all about caring and sharing, and we hope that our contribution can make a difference to these families.”

Since 2016, Fix Network, its employees and strategic partners have been closely associated with RMHC Canada, contributing more than CA$250,000 ($196,000) over the past three years.

“We are incredibly thankful to the entire Fix Network family for their continued commitment and passion in support of RMHC families and our mission at a time when the need is so great,” said Leslie Hederson, National Partnerships Director, RMHC Canada. “As a result of COVID-19, RMHC has experienced revenue declines of up to 60% and this donation will provide essential support for families with a sick child during a difficult time in their lives.”
