In May, the Certified Automotive Parts Association (CAPA) announced it created a new standard for automotive sensors, starting with ultrasonic park distance control (PDC) sensors. The new initiative aims to bring competition to the growing market for sensors while assuring the quality and performance of the safety items.
CAPA’s most recent announcement builds upon the announcement last year that it was expanding its work to include a verification program for headlight repair tabs.
