UAW Members Ratify New Four-Year Agreement with GM Ending Longest Strike in 50 Years

Agreement settles strike that began in Mid-September. UAW also reaches agreement to end Mack Truck strike and will begin bargaining process with Ford.

General Motors Co. (NYSE:GM) announced that GM team members have ratified a new four-year labor agreement covering employees at 55 UAW-represented sites across the U.S. ending a strike that began on September 16.
