Dealership Body Shop Sales Up in First Six Months of 2019

While sales are up, NADA mid-year report sees slight decrease in percentage of dealers operating body shops.

According to the latest data from the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA), sales at dealership body shops increased in the first six months of 2019 compared to the same period last year.

According to NADA, the total auto body work performed by all new-vehicle dealerships was $3.64 billion in the first six months of 2019, an increase of 11 percent from $3.28 billion in the first six months of 2018. The result remains below the $3.8 billion in sales reported by dealers in
