Jerome Grant Named CEO at Universal Technical Institute

Succeeds Kimberly McWaters who will retire October 31.

Universal Technical Institute, Inc. (NYSE: UTI)  announced that Kimberly J. McWaters has advised the Board that she will retire as Chief Executive Officer effective October 31. McWaters will continue to serve on the Board of Directors as a non-executive director. Jerome A. Grant, the company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer will become Chief Executive Officer and join the Board of Directors on November 1. The company also announced it expects to achieve the higher end of its full year guidance for fiscal 2019, which was raised on its August 2019
