Reports Indicate Tentative Deal between Union and GM to Settle Strike Impacting Collision Repair Parts Supply

While union members may soon be back at work at General Motors, the United Auto Workers are striking at Mack Trucks.

The UAW and General Motors are reported to have reached a tentative agreement to settle its strike with the vehicle manufacturer that has entered its fifth week. According to the report by CNBC, local union leaders will meet tomorrow and that workers will have to approve any deal. There is no indication yet when union members may return to work at GM.
