Record Revenue Reported by U.S. Collision Repair Non-Employers

Backyard Competition: While the overall number of individuals reporting collision repair income decreased, revenue increased to record levels in 2017. 2018 collision repair revenue projections updated.

As the collision repair industry continues to grow as indicated by our reports detailing the number of independent repair facilities with payroll and collision repair production, the number of smaller collision repairers, those without payroll, remains at high levels across the U.S. according to the latest government statistics. While the numbers are down from last year, the revenue they reported producing achieved a record high level over the 15 years tracked.
