Compared to the same month in 2018, traffic volume in the U.S. was down in February. The 12-month rolling average sets new record.
Travel volume in February decreased on a year-over-year basis. This is the first time that monthly traffic volume has declined compared to the previous year since September 2018. Since the decline in September monthly traffic volume had increased for four straight months until the February decline.
