At a regulatory workshop held April 18 in conjunction with its quarterly advisory committee meeting, the California Bureau of Automotive Repair detailed several proposed changes to collision repair regulations in the state. Among the changes being considered are new or revised definitions for crash parts, OEM crash parts and non-original crash parts. The proposals also include changes to the list of equipment collision repair shops are required to have and would mandate repair facilities return vehicles to manufacturer
