The Boyd Group Inc. today announced the opening yesterday of five Gerber Collision & Glass collision repair locations in the Kansas City, Mo. market. The centers, including 3 located in Kansas City, as well as Smithville and St. Joseph, previously operated as A & B Body Shop, Inc., originated 56 years ago. With this growth, Gerber now operates collision repair centers in 25 states. Kansas City is the largest city in Missouri and the central city of a metropolitan area of approximately 2.1 million people.
