The U.S. and Canada announced that they reached an agreement to revamp the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). Mexico and U.S. had previously announced an agreement to modernize the agreement.
A key piece of the new new United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) centers on the auto industry and the Trump Administration’s desire to have higher North American-produced content in automobiles manufactured within the trade block.
