J.D. Power and LMC Automotive project 1.3 percent increase in retail sales. Annual sales forecast revised upward.
New-vehicle retail sales in August are expected to rise from a year ago according to a forecast developed jointly by J.D. Power and LMC Automotive. Retail sales are projected to reach 1,280,400 units, a 1.3 percent increase compared with August 2017. August 2018 has the same number of selling days as last year.
