The National Auto Body Council (NABC) announced its First Responder Emergency Extrication (F.R.E.E.) program is expanding with the addition of rescue tool manufacturers Hurst Jaws of Life and Genesis Rescue Systems providing instructors for NABC member-hosted extrication events nationwide.

Nearly 80 Pittsburgh-area first responders receive classroom instruction from Genesis Rescue Systems at an NABC F.R.E.E. event hosted by Bower Collision. Vehicles were donated by State Farm and Allstate.
NABC’s F.R.E.E. program provides first responders with hands-on practice specifically on late model vehicles equipped with today’s new car technology, including lighter weight, high strength steels, sophisticated electronics and multiple airbag systems.
