Gillis, CFA’s long-time director of public affairs, succeeds Steve Brobeck who retired after 38 years with organization.
In June, Stephen Brobeck will retire as Executive Director of the Consumer Federation of America after 38 years of service. Having served on the CFA Board from 1976 to 1979, he was appointed Executive Director in the spring of 1980. Brobeck will be succeeded by Jack Gillis, CFA’s long-standing Director of Public Affairs.
Gillis recently retired as the executive director of the Certified Automotive Parts Association (CAPA), the non-profit, standard setting and certification organization for non-OEM parts
