Travel volume in December continued to increase, though the rate was lower than experienced in the U.S. in recent years. The growth is continuing the trend of increased driving that supports higher collision repair industry volume and auto physical damage insurance claims across the U.S.
Travel for the month of December is estimated at 261.8 billion vehicle miles nationwide according to the most recent data released by the Federal Highway Administration.
