I have been working in and on the auto body and collision repair business for nearly 50 years. My dada started family business in 1955. I worked at the business in the mid 1960s, joining the family business full time in 1969 after finishing high school
Please send me your email address and I will send you a more detailed history.
Ny family business changed hands when I ventured off into a new business and my brother bought the business and runs it till this day. Hus business focus has shifted to more of a towing and automotive service business with body business representing perhaps 50% of his overall business
Additionally, I work with Joe Carubba of Carubba Collision asa trusted advisor, consultant and business coach. Carubba also started in 1950’s in Buffalo NY at a humble 5,000 SF shop and a employees. Joe Carubba (Son, Owner, Pres and CEO joined the business after attending college. Joe has grown the business from 1 shop to 17 locations scattered strategically across Upstate NY.
Lots of story there.
