Diamond Standard Releases Crash Test Results of Honda Fit Bumper Reinforcements

Aftermarket parts manufacturer again demonstrates that its parts perform to OEM standards through testing.

Diamond Standard Parts, the Tennessee-based manufacturer of non-OEM collision repair parts, released results of dynamic barrier sled-testing performed by MGA Research Corporation in December 2017 that compared the performance of an OEM Production Model bumper reinforcement (rebar), an OEM Service Rebar, and a Diamond Standard Certified Rebar.

The test results showed that while the OEM Production rebar was visually different than the OEM Service Rebar and the Diamond Standard Certified Rebar all three reinforcements had nearly identical plots in the dynamic barrier test. The photo below
