Travel volume in June continued to grow following the rebound in April and May. The growth is continuing the trend of increased driving that supports increasing collision repair industry volume and auto physical damage insurance claims across the U.S.
Travel for the month of June is estimated at 280.9 billion vehicle miles nationwide according to the most recent data released by the Federal Highway Administration.
June’s traffic volume represents an increase of 1.2 percent or 3.4 billion vehicle miles over June 2016.
