According to ADESA report June prices were down versus the previous month but up over the previous year.
According to the ADESA Analytical Services’ monthly analysis of Wholesale Used Vehicle Prices, average wholesale prices in June were down versus May but up on a year-over-year basis. However, drilling down into the data once again clearly reveals price softening on a year-over-year basis when accounting for sale type, vehicle age, model class and mileage.
Generally, lower used vehicle prices increase pressure on the number of total losses impacting the collision repair industry, while rising prices allow for more collision repair work
