Auto Glass Safety Council Amends Standards to Include ADAS Language

The Auto Glass Safety Council’s (AGSC) AGRSS Standards Committee voted at its recent spring meeting to amend the AGRSS Standard with language related to Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) that places the responsibility for recalibration on the glass installer to have the proper equipment and training or requires notification to the vehicle owner that calibrations may be required if the installer does not provide recalibration service. The committee met on May 31 in Irvine, Calif.
