Move to “significantly improve” the customer experience for body repair. Will also expand certified network.
In a letter to investors accompanying the release of its first quarter earnings yesterday, Tesla Motors announced it would open its own body shops later this year. Tesla currently sells and services its vehicles itself and the company has a network of independently-owned, certified collision repair centers. The company also plans to expand its certified network.
