Private equity firm acquires insurance and collision repair industry software provider.
CCC Information Services Inc., the software and service provider to the automotive, insurance, and collision repair industries, announced today that Advent International, a global investment firm with deep experience in the technology sector, will purchase equity assets from CCC’s previous owners Leonard Green & Partners (LGP) and TPG Capital (TPG).
On February 8, CollisionWeek reported that the company was rumored to be up for sale. The transaction is the latest in a series of private equity investments in the collision repair industry software provider.
