Tennessee Senate Bill 768 (SB 768), introduced by Senator John Stevens, seeks to amend the Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 56, relative to crash parts, to include a new section that would require exterior non-OEM collision repair parts to include distinct manufacturer marks and include consumer disclosure statements with estimates prepared by insurers and collision repair facilities.
The bill would add a new section that would require non-OEM metal and plastic crash parts to have the name or logo of the manufacturer affixed or inscribed
