A former advocate and lobbyist for auto body associations in the southeast U.S. was elected as the Republican candidate for North Carolina Insurance Commissioner.
Mike Causey, a five-time candidate for the office, formerly served as the Director of Government Affairs and Managing Director for the Independent Auto Body Association (IABA) and was a registered lobbyist in North Carolina for the (IABA), the North Carolina Autobody and Glass Association, as well as the Automotive Service Association of North Carolina.
