Rhode Island Releases 2016 Labor Rate Survey Reports for Class A and B Collision Repair Facilities

Latest survey is the first to require insurers to report labor rates based upon two tiered licensing structure. Do Class A repairers get paid more than Class B?

The Rhode Island Department of Business Regulation released its Auto Body Labor Rate Survey reports for 2016. The report is the first to take into consideration the states two-tiered collision repair licensing structure that was approved last year that added a “Class A” designation. To be considered a “Class A” facility a collision repair center must:
