Honda Requests Assistance from Collision Repair Facilities to Identify Vehicles Needing Airbag Recall Replacement.

American Honda Motor Co, Inc.is once again asking for assistance from collision repair and mechanical repair facilities to help identify vehicles subject to the Takata airbag recalls that are affecting the industry.

Honda logoLast year, the company called on the collision repair industry to check the VIN of vehicles in for repair to determine if Honda or Acura vehicles  had an outstanding airbag recall.

Using the VIN, anyone can check a Honda or Acura vehicle’s recall status by going to www.recalls.honda.com, www.recalls.acura.com or by calling (888) 234-2138. More detailed information about Honda’s efforts surrounding the Takata airbag inflator recalls can
