In one of the most critical comments issued in the wake of Tesla’s announcement that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) was launching an investigation into the vehicle manufacturer’s Autopilot semi-autonomous driving feature following a fatal crash in May, Consumer Reports has called for the company to disable the feature in customer’s cars.
